Summer is finally here and it's time to hit the beach with one of my favorite items, the beach bag. Perfect for the sandy beach or a poolside dip, a nice big straw bag is perfect for putting in a big ol' towel, some sunscreen, sunnies, and maybe a portable speaker. I also love a good beach clutch like this pom pom clutch I snagged from Tuckernuck. The best for keeping everything together for an afternoon at a cantina for margs or a summer BBQ.

Channeling a duchess's style is no easy task and finding wearable and affordable Middleton-inspired pieces poses quite the challenge. In her most recent trip to India and Bhutan, Kate seemed to explore with more colorful and casual bohemian pieces that really anyone can replicate. Here are some of our favorite looks from her trip and great pieces you can get from some of our favorite stores like Tuckernuck, Topshop, and Bloomingdales!
I'm always trying to incorporate more classic, yet fun staples into my wardrobe, which is why I love the look of the white Elizabeth McKay shirt under the Barbour vest. Adding a cool pair of tortoise shades would be a great addition too. If you loved these effortless Kate Middleton outfit ideas, make sure to check out Tuckernuck and follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Today we read that the cherry blossoms here in Washington DC are very close to their peak and we can't think of a better idea than to plan for a picnic at the Tidal Basin. So grab your girlfriends, some snacks & rosé and enjoy spring!
Fun fact: Hanami means "cherry blossom viewing" or enjoying the blossoms, in Japanese.
We're loving all of the great home decor items that Tuckernuck has right now! The cups, plates, and embroidered buzzed! napkin were a fun find as well.
Tuckernuck's Spring Lifestyle Guide Launched this week and is full of fab spring and summer pieces. This Full Print Floral Skirt is on my wishlist. Check out the dress too!
Now, sit back and enjoy the beauty of the Tidal Basin! One note: while picnics take a little more effort to plan, it becomes easy when everyone brings 2-3 items, and even better, it's typically cheaper than brunch! Tip: To avoid the crowds, here are some other great spots in DC to enjoy the blossoms.
