Last weekend on my instagram story, I talked about my obsession and frankly, hoarding of my favorite beach/casual/couch/picnic blanket from Las Bayadas, and I got a ton of questions about it!

I purchased this multicolored blanket from Shop Waiting On Martha two years ago and have used it for EVERYTHING. At the beach, as a picnic blanket, as a pool towel, as a bed "eating blanket" yes, I eat in bed, and no, I don't care if you think it's gross.

Here's a little bit about the company from the founders themselves:

Eight years ago my husband and I arrived in this small fishing village called Sayulita in Mexico, we literally fell in love with the Mexican culture. Living on the beach, we started thinking about the perfect beach towel.

We were inspired by a Mexican fabric used to decorate houses, and we started to turn it in a beach towel. We just added colorful stripes to put our colorful and personal touch. Also the environment part was essential for us. Thus, we decided to collaborate with a firm that provides us recycled cotton to make our towels. We received a warm welcome from Mexican people, consequently for us it's normal to give it back. 10% of the profits of each Las Bayadas sold will be donated to support a scholarship program for the local Mexican students going to the Costa Verde International School.

Alright, lets discuss the SALE part.

Madewell sells them for $34.99
Shopbop has the El Pablo Tote $55
Nordstrom sells the mult-stripe for $45
Saint Bernard has the pink-green combo for $34.90

And yes, I'm 100% in fullll denial that summer is over.
Thanks, adios.
