It's no secret that DC has some fantastic brunch spots. Whether you're brunching for a light bite post spin class, or having bottomless and making a day of it - it's a great way to help alleviate the Sunday Scaries. Here's a list of some of my current favorites from the District.
Table (Shaw) - Adorable farm-to-fork eatery with a dynamic menu of modern European fare, plus a roof deck & sidewalk seats. I recommend sitting on the second floor for the best #foodgrams. Make sure to try the Ricotta Beignets and the Brioche B.L.T. - $$$
Centrolina (Metro Center) - Seasonal Italian fare such as handmade pastas served in sleek, bright digs with an on-site market. Centrolina switches up the menu regularly but be advised, the pasta here is amazing. Make sure to grab your glass of rosé mid-brunch and take a walk around the market. I've had my eye on their egg muffins (Parmigiano, jershire cheese, basil, rosemary, garlic and olive oil muffin filled with a whole Path Valley hard boiled egg) for MONTHS thanks to this instagram from DC Foodsters - $$
Le Diplomat (14th Street) - Bustling brasserie serves classic French fare & drinks amid a zinc bar, tile floors & sidewalk café. A place cute enough to take your Mom to brunch to or have a mussels & Veuve-fueled afternoon at. Get the oysters to start, a salade vert, and Eggs Boudin Noir. The Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal with pistachio is amazing as well. - $$
Bar Deco (Gallery Place) - BEST BEST BEST place to get your money's worth for mimosas. You essentially get a fully glass of champagne and add your own splash of OJ, depending on how strong you like it. À la Amy Schumer in Trainwreck. Last time I ate at Bar Deco, my breakfast sandwich had a glazed donut as the bun. So yeah, we're a big fan. - $$
